Curious if anyone knows why this was discontinued? It's such a good camera... I'm not aware of any others with built in temperature sensors and lights etc.

It's basically age. Like many/most/(all?) electronics, things age out while new devices and software are developed.

Yeah, I get this, but I was hoping to get some factual info on why it was discontinued and not replaced. It's a lot more functional and advanced than half the cameras that are being released, and arguably better than most baby monitors on the market today. Just a strange decision from my point of view.

How can I un-mark this as an accepted solution? I did not accept this solution as it's just speculation and not an actual answer to my question.

If you click on the three dots in the upper right of the post, you should see "not the solution". I took the liberty of doing that for you.

We no longer manufacture the Arlo baby, that is the reason it is no longer offered. If you still currently have one it should still be working. We do appreciate your feedback, I will pass it on to our development team.

Hey, thanks... just curious though. Did you stop manufacturing because it got too expensive to make? Or no longer aligned with the direction Arlo is going? Or safety concerns?
Our is still working well and it's a shame we can't buy another... I've gone as far as planning on how to recreate this using a RPi + camera + piicodev sensors etc
