I've verified that the system is reasonably secure, however thus far (even with direct contact with Amazon AWS), unable to verify that all of those AWS nodes are in fact owned by Arlo.

Nothing is 100% safe except a device turned off ( and then it's not always off ) 🙂
But, one has to pick an choose what you want to transmit. I will not have an alexa ( open mic ) but do use the Baby when needed.
I don't overly worry about it.
