Device not connecting to Arlo - no monitoring capabilities

My wife and I use the app (on apple devices) to monitor our daughter. All has been fine for almost a year, but in the past week I have been unable to connect regularly and now neither of us can connect.

No sound or video, app gives the eternal whee of death while says ‘connecting...’

What should we do to resolve this issue?
