I've got an Arlo baby which has a solid orange led on the front and nothing I do seems to correct the issue.
It seems like it's the same issue as here:
https://community.arlo.com/t5/Arlo-Baby/Baby-Monitor-Orange-led/m-p/1790698#M6410
So far I've tried:
1. Resetting by pressing the reset under the sync button for over 10 seconds.
2. Going through the connection steps on the Arlo app.
3. Calling support.. This just rings our saying there are technical difficulties.
What else can I try? This is the second Arlo baby we've bought and the first one works great! Bought this one secondhand for our second child.

Did the original owner remove the camera from their account?

Currently when I press the sync button nothing happens. The light just stays solid orange.

The issue of the previous owner needing to remove the camera from their account supersedes everything else. That could well be the reason for the solid amber light - it's still trying to connect to the previous WiFi. Of course, it could also be a faulty camera. You can try using the Contact Support link at the bottom here to see what they say.
