So have the dreaded solid amber. Never goes away unless I turn unit off on the bottom. Turn it on solid amber. Tried power cycling. Tried removing the device, but joke is on me as holding the sync button does nothing nor does the qr scan work. Tried hard reset as well. Had monitor for almost exactly 3 years. Any help would be appreciated

The bottom switch is for the internal battery....

So try and turn it off, unplug for about 5 mins , then replug and hold the reset for at least ten secs .

If it resets the led should flash  and the camera reboot.

 

If all the above is NG, then it may just be doa.   My cam from when first release still works but it seems like the dreaded amber on led is happening to quite a few.... no answer at this point since they are out of warranty and not sure if still available.
