Hi,
Just purchased an Arlo Baby monitor and went to set it up in our living room to monitor the baby and nanny. It was not plugged in and it literally drained a battery charged to 100% in less than 4 hrs? Is that normal? Why is it draining so fast?

Likely because it's constantly streaming. I believe that you're seeing approximately what the specs say for battery-only runtime. Realistically, these should be plugged in with the battery used for power outages or other unusual circumstances.

Yes, it's normal... the battery will last longer in the daytime ( lack of IR illumination ) but 3-6 hrs is the norm.
