Arlo Baby uses up the battery so quickly when not plugged in and turned off

Hi all

My arlo baby uses up the battery so quick when it is not plugged in even if I have turned it off. Am I doing something wrong or is it faulty? Alison there is a little switch underneath im not sure what this does?

the battery on the Baby is rated at about 6 hrs in day and 3 hrs at night....

( at night the IR illumination is on )

The battery, IMO, is just a short term backup if power goes out.

The switch turns on/off the battery
