Hi Guys
I purchased and Alro Baby Monitor ( ABC1000). Connected it through the app works every thing works well but not the microphone audio detection. I can stand in front of the camera and make noises but when I go to view the recording no sound and only movement notifications are sent to my phone. Even in live stream there is no sound. I have tried resetting the camera, deleting the app and re installing the app, reconnect the camera, basically I’ve tried everything to no avail. Help would be greatly appreciated as this is a feature is essential for monitoring the baby.

Verify that the issue is with the unit instead of the phone/app by testing via a computer ( https://arlo.netgear.com/ )

 

this way you will narrow down the scope of problem and can either contact Netgear Support or return if able

Sound still does not play on PC in live stream or on recorded clip. Would you recommend I return the camera?
