Hello all,

I am having issues with my Arlo App, and possibly my camera. I originally had an Asus GT-ax11000 which was top of the line or close at the time. However, because of the instability of the system, every night the ipad would turn itself off randomly while we were sleeping. This made the entire unit useless, but because it was a gift we were stuck with the Arlo Baby. We turned off the AX mode, turned off airtime fairness, turned off everything that essentially made the high end router high end, and still would not solve the issues.

Eventually, we replaced the router with a Netgear RAXE-500 and the issues were gone. Stable and throughout the night to even the following evening when we were getting ready for bed.

Recently found a great deal on the Asus GT-AXE16000 and I believed whatever issue that plagued the unit would have been long solved by now, I purchased the unit. While the camera and app seem to stay on through the night, I have had to reset the router every night for the camera feed to load to the app. I have messed with the band settings again to remove any fancy options on the 2.4 ghz band but have not found anything that makes the camera as painless to use as the previous router. I do not believe there was a hardware unit in two different top end models at the time, so the only explanation I can come up with is that there is some esoteric setting that has to be on/off. If anyone has any insight on this, I would truly appreciate it.

Its a little frustrating that Arlo is selling units that cost several hundred dollars but refuse to have any live support for anyone that does not have their subscription. I think issues like these that affect basic levels of their product should have better coverage and support.

Thank you in advance to any and everyone that has any suggestions! Happy Holidays!
