Arlo Baby - Doesn't Stretch Across The Screen On Device View?

As per photo, why isnt my device/camera display strecting across the whole screen in the App?

I know I can enable full screen mode but this should be using the full width of the screen in this view on my iPad.

 

Full screen mode is an extra click each time and the problem with that is none of the buttons work, i have to exit full screen mode to control sound or light options etc. as they seem to open up behind full screen which is really frustrating.
