My home internet provider (Comcast) caps my data each month. I’m interested in an Arlo Baby for use as our baby monitor. If the iPad we are viewing the video stream from on the Arlo app is connected to the same WiFi network as the Arlo Baby unit and cloud recording us turned off, Will the Arlo Baby be using my home internet data? Or will the video stream be sent straight through the router to my iPad without uploading data to Arlo’s servers?
thanks!

pgtrotter,
I have attached two KB Articles regarding this. The Arlo Baby camera has two different viewing modes depending on what WiFi network and viewing device you are using to stream video from Arlo Baby. The following articles will go in to depth about these features.
How can I reduce video streaming lag or delays when viewing my Arlo Baby camera?
