Why Does The Arlo Doorbell Not Have A Camera?

Why does the arlo doorbell not include a camera.? It already connects to wireless network so, why not include a camera.. not every door is conducive to mounting a camera. Seems like a camera would be included like your competitors.

I would assume that the thinking was that by NOT including a camera that owners of an existing Arlo system would have maximum flexibility at a low price point.  Of course on the flipside is the expense for people who do not own an Arlo system to purchase all of the additional items needed to make the doorbell fully functional.
