Good evening, in the Arlo app the camera has a black colored motion icon.

On the door bell it is has a gray colored icon.

Does that mean the door bell isn’t notifying about/recording on motion?

If that is true than how do I enable?

Please see screenshot for details.

Thank you!!!!!!!!

That's interesting - I haven't noticed it before. For my 2 doorbells, I have detection turned off since that causes hourly recordings of nothing there. I just use a camera rule to do the same thing. However, on my Android app, both doorbells show a black motion icon while the web browser shows a gray one.

Clearly, there's some discontinuity here. Try force closing the app in the phone settings and clear the app cache to see if that makes a difference.

Thank you!

But how do I clear my app cache on iOS?

Thank you!

Beats me - never had iOS. Worst case an app reinstall would work.

Hi, I un-installed and re-installed the app and no difference unfortunately.

Maybe this is another bug like when I’m not home and my Arlo camera shows red low for battery life even though I have the camera plugged into an outlet.

Thank you!!!
