Link Camera to Audio Doorbell

If I link one of my cameras to the doorbell, will the camera also continue to work independently when it picks up motion itself?

I'm ready to buy, just need to know that the camera will continue to operate as normal after connected to the doorbell.

Yes, the camera can be both linked to the doorbell as well as armed by itself in the normal modes and rules. By default, the camera is already in the Armed mode and will follow that rule to activate a recording.
