If no one answers doorbell call, does not give the "Leave a message" voice

Just bought and updated an Arlo Pro 2 kit with an audio doorbell. Everything is working fine but the leave a message feature. If no one answers the doorbell call, it just does nothing. I have a version 1.3, all updated. Base is a VMB4000.

Try rebooting the base and pop the batteries out and reinsert.
