Arlo Audio Doorbell

My arlo audio doorbell i just installed not wired only allows me to hear what the person ringing the doorbell is saying but they can't hear me respond thru the doorbell. What could be wrong?

Does the Arlo app on your phone have permission to access the phone's mic?

And is the mic mute turned off in the doorbell settings?

I'm not sure how to allow that thru the arlo app. I have searched and I haven't found that option in the app.

Assuming that you were responding to Steve's question about the app permissions, you use the phone settings for the app to check and set permissions.

Thank you for the explanation and Yes the mic has permission but the problem persists.
