    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Subject:&lt;/STRONG&gt; Cannot pair Arlo SmartHub Add‑Ons (VMB5000) to SmartHub 4540 – Request for firmware/claim assistance&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello Arlo Support,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have an &lt;STRONG&gt;Arlo SmartHub 4540&lt;/STRONG&gt; (firmware &lt;STRONG&gt;1.27.0.0_1931_03495c2&lt;/STRONG&gt;, current hardware revision) correctly connected via Ethernet/Powerline to my Fritz!Box and shown as online (steady blue LED). I am attempting to pair two &lt;STRONG&gt;Arlo SmartHub Add‑On VMB5000&lt;/STRONG&gt; bridges, but both remain in &lt;STRONG&gt;amber flashing&lt;/STRONG&gt; mode and the pairing wizard (both the Arlo mobile app and my.arlo.com) never discovers them, returning “&lt;STRONG&gt;Your base station could not be discovered&lt;/STRONG&gt;” or timeout errors.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Device details:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;SmartHub 4540&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Firmware: 1.27.0.0_1931_03495c2&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Local IP: 192.168.188.22&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;VMB5000 #1&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;MAC: FC9FC98C19FF7&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;S/N&amp;nbsp; A6G4477UD0566&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;VMB5000 #2&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;MAC: FC9C98C1AA11&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; S/N A6G4477ED08C4&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Steps already attempted:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Factory reset of both VMB5000 (Sync 15 s until rapid amber flash).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Proximity pairing (&amp;lt; 3 m) with the SmartHub.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Pairing attempts via Android 13 &amp;amp; iOS Arlo app (latest version).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Pairing attempts via Arlo web portal my.arlo.com.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Disabled VPN Express on the phone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Disabled client isolation, WPS, IPv6 and IGMP Snooping on router Fritz!Box 7590 AX.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Verified SmartHub Internet connectivity (ping, steady blue LED).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Despite all this, the VMB5000 never switch to a &lt;STRONG&gt;steady green LED&lt;/STRONG&gt; and never appear under &lt;STRONG&gt;Devices → Accessories&lt;/STRONG&gt;. I kindly request:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Remote verification of my SmartHub and Add‑On bridges firmware status.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Manual “claim” of my SmartHub 4540 on the Arlo cloud, if possible.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Forcing a firmware &lt;STRONG&gt;downgrade/upgrade&lt;/STRONG&gt; to resolve any mismatch.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any other support or instructions to finally enable the pairing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am available to provide additional logs or perform live troubleshooting as needed.
