Takes a long time to connect & display image

Wether I use the arlo ap or Google home, connecting and displaying my camera feeds takes an inordinate amount of time. Many times simply timing out. My wifi is strong at over 500mbs and all routers, modems & hubs have been updated and rebooted.

What can I do to ensure that I am quickly able to see these feeds on my phone?

The first thing I would do is check the wifi speed at the camera locations. Use the free Ookla speedtest app on your phone, and disable mobile data during the test. The upload speed you need depends on the camera, but anything over 3 mbps is fine. Also, look for any packet loss during the test.
