New App - Can’t Customize Just 1 Camera

The new app upgrade is terrible. Not user friendly in the least bit and someone must of needed to prove they do something at the company for job security.

Old App: I could set each of my four Pro 4s to be on a different schedule independently.

New App: Spent over an hour with service support just for them to tell me that I can no longer have all cameras work independently. I have one camera I don’t want to record or send notifications from 8am-8pm because my dog is in and out all day and the constant notification are a pain. Instead if I want to have that one camera not record/notify 8-8 then I’d have to set that mode for all the cameras.

Who upgrades an app and makes the customizability worse!?

Please someone let me know if you’ve figured out a way to do this. I just want 3 cameras going 24/7 and one camera just for 12 hours.

Modify the "Arm Home" mode so it only has the 3 cameras armed (removing the rule for the other).

Then create two schedule automations. One that changes the mode to "Arm Home" at 8 am, and one that changes the mode to "Arm Away" at 8 pm.

Make sure the enable list for both of these automations is set to "Arm Home", "Arm Away" (and not standby). You can in the mode setup screens.

If you go on a trip and want all the cameras armed 24x7 until you return, you will need to manually disable the schedule automations when you leave, and re-enable them when you get back.
