topic Ceiling fan mount? in Arlo

Has anyone ever mounted a cam to a ceiling fan? I don't use the ceiling fan and just need to watch the room when I keep my pets in there. It would be a great location to see the entire room, with the cam pointed down. I have wired and wireless Arlo cams. Somewhere I saw someone talking about doing it and using a bulb socket to power it.

With some creative thinking this could work. Use any of the myriad of available camera mounts that use a 1/4"-20 thread and attach that to the fan cover in the middle. You could then remove a bulb and insert one of those socket to plug adapters to plug the charger into. Of course, you'd need to remove or at least loosen the other bulbs so they weren't always on (since you need to leave power on for the charger).
