topic Can I minimize wind noise? in Arlo

does anybody have any suggestions or can post a link for something on how to minimize the wind noise that I hear on my Sim card camera when I'm viewing it live, and yes of course when I playback alerts.

I live in a very windy area . The Arlo go 2 does not record noise only motion but anytime I listen to a playback or live the wind noise is so loud because it's very windy where I live.

Unfortunately, the camera doesn't have wind noise reduction built into the electronics. So there isn't anything you can do in the settings, other than turning the mic off.

You could try putting a small piece of light foam or fabric over the microphone hole as a wind screen. It's important that it be light (and thin), as you don't want to block too much sound. If that helps, you could purchase some microphone wind screens, cut off a small amount of the foam, and use that.

Also, that approach might require getting a rain cover for the camera, as it's best to keep the wind screen dry in the weather.
