Privacy zones not doing anything?

In addition to our home alarm and cams, and a smart doorcam we set up the essential door cam. It works, but playing around with the zones does absolutely nothing. I set up activity zones but it keeps sending notifications about movement outside the designated zones, so today I added the maximum of 3 privacy zones, which essentially greys out the whole street. The effect is zero: it keeps on sending notifications of cars passing by that are clearly in the privacy zones, which is very annoying and takes away the whole purpose of notifications. Called the security company and the guy wanted me to turn off smart notifications for cars, which is absurd since I want to able to see if a car enters our driveway

Privacy zones do not function as activity zones.

Is it reliably detecting that?

On the main problem, is there any motion at all inside the activity zones? Also, vehicle lights or reflections can trigger the sensors if the light reaches inside the zone.
