Depending on the motion detector, it could be the night vision IR illuminators or even a click emitted by the camera as it activates. Try disabling night vision to see if that changes the behavior. If so, perhaps a sensitivity change on the motion detector (if equipped) would help or possibly a different light source.

Hi there,

I the following setup, which when I activate the camera remotely sets off my alarm - triggering the motion sensor. I can only assume that when I activate the camera from "standby" it "comes to life" by initiating all is services - motion detection, night-vision and camera... I am taking a WAG that the the signals emiiting from the camera are being picked up by the motion detector. Short of moving the camera (or motion sensor) is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening? The location is ideal for both....

Thanks in advance for any insight/suggestions.
