Cameras will not show as added after removing and re-adding the device

Removed and then add back some cameras to my base station. I was able to remove the device but unsuccessful in adding it back.

Base Station: VMB4000r3, Firmware: 1.25.1.0_4598_1f1c874

Camera: Arlo Pro 2

Completed the following steps:

Put the base station in pairing mode (thru app, via button, or thru my arlo website): base station LED blinks as expected.
Put the camera within 3 feet of base station and put battery in. LED flashes after that, as expected.
Press sync button to put camera in pairing mode. Camera LED blinks slowly as expected.
After a moment, the camera LED begins flashing quickly. Base station LED goes to solid.
Camera LED stops flashing.
The camera is NOT listed under devices in the app or web interfaces

I tried adding three separate Arlo Pro 2 camera and none were successfully added. I tried to add a spare Arlo Pro camera and none were successfully added after following the same steps above.

You didn't mention what COLOR the camera LED blinked rapidly at the end of the pairing attempt.

It may or may not be useful to remove the base from your account and start fresh, as if new.
