Cannot Login - Trifecta of Bad Luck

Hi,

I managed to burn my phone completely up today, in my kitchen. I was trying to fix it .. . Lithium batteries are nasty.
I also don't use my gmail address for anything but Arlo access, and it has been long enough that they dropped my account.
And, all my alternate means to accept a push message seem to have evaporated.

So I have a $600 security system that I suddenly am unable to access. I have replaced the phone and installed the Arlo app. I have reestablished a Gmail account of the same name I previously had.

So now how do I get the Arlo app to accept a login?

I Greatly need your help. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
(I am left wondering - what if someone buys this equipment at an estate sale? How would they get it to work?)

If the gmail address matches your Arlo username, then you should now be able to use email authentication. You might find it easier to monitor the email on a nearby PC, so you don't need to leave the app login screen.

Thanks for your reply!! I had bungled the 'new' address of the same name. Now that I have Google fixed, I am able to receive authentication codes.
