VMC2050 good choice?

I have a VMC2050 because that's one of the few models that Walmart sells. Is this a good choice? I need a few more. How does the picture and performance compare to the wired VMC2060?
I might have one outdoors but I mainly need them indoors.

The indoor camera (VMC2060) doesn't need batteries since it's powered so may be a good choice for indoors (it's not weatherproof). However, it doesn't have the spotlight like the VMC2050 so nighttime recordings will be in B&W, if that matters. Since the subject would be relatively close to the camera you would still get reasonable clarity although not like in the daytime. Other indoor lighting may provide enough light to still get color recordings. One feature of this camera is that it uses pixel-change detection (it looks at the various pixels for something to change) so is more responsive to movement and can even be used to look through a window (with night vision LEDs turned off to prevent glare from the glass) to monitor outdoors to a degree.

The outdoor camera can obviously work both indoors and out. You can use an outdoor power supply to keep the battery charged regardless of where you place it or just manually charge it as needed. This one does have a spotlight for nighttime color recordings. It uses PIR (passive IR) sensors to detect motion like an motion detection light which isn't as sensitive to motion, especially at a distance, but is weatherproof (well, resistant) unlike the indoor camera.

Both cameras are HD (1080p) versions so image quality would be the same. You may want to check the Arlo site (Arlo.com) since there are sales going on now if the 2k resolution models would be more to your liking. Of course, many other retailers (be sure that they are authorized Arlo distributors so the warranty is valid) will also have similar prices.
