      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just found a arlo camera in my house that is not mine. Can the serial/model be used to determine when and who purchased the camera???&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;A couple of thoughts -&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The first is to identify the camera model.&amp;nbsp; If the camera housing opens, then you can take the camera out of the housing and remove the battery.&amp;nbsp; There is a label inside that will give you the model.&amp;nbsp; If the camera does not open, then look for a label that starts with VMC.&amp;nbsp; This might be on the rubber seal around the charging port, or it might be on the back of the camera.&amp;nbsp; It can be hard to see.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the camera is the Go or Go 2 model, then it connects to mobile data network.&amp;nbsp; You could remove the SIM card, and perhaps use that to track down the mobile data account.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the camera is &lt;U&gt;&lt;EM&gt;not&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/U&gt; a Go or Go 2, then it connects to a nearby wifi network.&amp;nbsp; If the camera&amp;nbsp; is still active, then it would probably be connected to your wifi network.&amp;nbsp; So you could look in your router's device list, and see if you can find the camera listed there.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you suspect someone of surveillance, then I also suggest contacting law enforcement.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
