topic Cameras Offline Cause, Fix and Bug Report in Arlo

Regular Arlo, just puchased.
Base: VMB3010R2
Version: 2.1.0_12984
Base: 1.7.3_5005
Our Internet service went down and as a result the cameras went offline. When service was restored, the cameras remained offline until I could power cycle the base station. This is not acceptable. The base station should be smart enough to resolve that issue without human intervention. What is a vacation home owner to do when this happens? Fortunately this is my only home and I could fix it when I got home. The home was without security for a day because of this.

woodcutter60,

You can reboot the Arlo base station remotely by using the Arlo app. Log into your Arlo account > Settings > My Devices > select your base station > Restart. This can be useful in a scenario like you describe above.
