Recording trouble

When record is set and I log out the record dosen't seem to record when I return to check. I'm sure it's a setting that I don't have set right. Could i have some feed back please.

Logging out shouldn't affect anything. Does this happen on only one camera or multiple? Have you specifically tried to get it to record? Maybe the batteries are dead? What are the LEDs on the base showing? There should be the left 3 lit green.

First thing after setting the MODE to record is go back to the cameras and check the small running man... If he is black, then the motion record is set on.
