topic Problem reconnecting camera in Arlo

I was having battery issues and unable to reconnect. One camera… No problem, reconnecting others. I deleted the camera from the system, installed new batteries, and attempted to re-synchronize. As soon as I close the battery compartment, I get a slow blue blank. This is before touching the synch button. The slow blink stops. When I depress the synch button I get a slow blue flash for a few seconds, followed by fast Amber blinks for a few seconds, followed by fast blue blinks for a few seconds and then it stops. As soon as I touch the button it starts through the same cycle, slow blue, fast Amber, fast, blue, off, any advice? I keep restarting this process, but I’m never able to get to a point where I can depress the synch Button for three seconds and begin the synchronizing described In the help directions. As soon as I close the battery compartment, the camera blinks blue.

You posted in the Essential 2 section but your description suggests you are working with an original wire-free camera that takes 4 CR123 batteries - is that true?

When closing the battery door, you should see a brief blue flash indicating power has been applied. If the camera was previously connected, there should be a pause and then rapid blue flashes indicating it connected to your base. The indications you state are inconsistent with any known sequence so my guess is that the camera has a fault. It's very old (in electronic terms) so may have just given up the ghost.

I found that my camera was older than I thought. I was ultimately able to connect. Thanks for the prompt help!
