What model hub do you have? Look for a VMBxxxx label on it.

Stupid question and sorry if it has been asked before. New to the Arlo Game. I have 4 cameras essential spotlight. I have a arlo hub. App works great but does not record anything. Can I put a usb jump drive into the back of the hub and it will start to record without having to pay anything ? I don’t care if the clips are short or auto deleted after a few days. I just don’t want to pay monthly but would like recorded clips. Thanks in advanced !!

Yes. Assuming you have a VMB4540 you will need to use a drive of at least 16GB as well as to go to the hub's settings, Storage Settings, Local Storage Settings to enable this as well as to format the drive, which must use the FAT32 format.

Have had a 64 MB USB drive attached to hub, but now I try to see what's in it and don't get anything.

How do you see what's stored in USB? I have a VMB4000

The VMB4000 supports local recording, but NOT playback.

You have to eject the storage using the app, and connect it to a PC. Then look for the recordings on the PC.
