What iphone model? What version of iOS are you running?

I have an IPhone 15 with iOS 17.4.1.

Have you tried deleting the app from the library and then downloading it again?

hi, all resolved. after a lengthy but very helpful online chat to a Arlo tech.

I had actually deleted the app but had issues as I had a new phone.
