Weak Wifi reception and battery partially consumed after 12 hours

Dear Community,

Yesterday I've installed my station + 2 Arlo wire-free cameras and today (12 hours later), I've noticed that battery life is now indicating 88%. I've also noticed that the Wifi reception shows only 80% with my cameras being outside (around 15 feet far from base station). When placing it close to the station (within 3 feet), it doesn't get better.

Any idea of what causes those issues?

Sounds like your WiFi connection is fine. I show 80% also and have no issue with battery life.

How much recording, live viewing and other actual camera operation such as positioning have you done? Spec is for 4 minutes per day to get 4-6 month battery life. It's typical for a new installation that the user overuses the camera, causing the batteries to deplete rapidly.
