No issue here, either (also NY). You ^C a bit early - I typically get several lack of responses during a traceroute.

You can also use this site for possible issues (choose your ISP or service):

http://downdetector.com/

Is Netgear Arlo base stations' servers connection having problems right now?

Hi!

I noticed my Netgear Arlo cameras were not detecting and recording since yesterday (almost a day). So, I logged into its iOS apps on a couple iPhones (4S and 6), and noticed the base station was disarmed. Huh? So, I turned it back on. Then, I noticed how slow the app was working even if I close the app and relogin. Too slow and sometimes hanging forever. I went back to the base station in person and noticed its middle Internet light was sometimes orange/amber color. So, I thought maybe the base station has problems and needed a power cycle. So, I pressed its rear button off and on. Nope, same results.

My Time Warner Cable's Internet seems fine and fast. So, I am thinking it is Netgear's side due to base station's middle Internet amber light status? https://arlo.netgear.com/ does not connect well (very slow or not connecting). Although, this forum works. I did some diggings:

Pinging arlo.netgear.com (PING ArloProdLB-1815857678.eu-west-1.elb.amazonaws.com (52.48.163.70)) failed to respond. Tracerouting showed:

...
7 ge-4-1-2.p0.lax91.tbone.rr.com (66.109.1.217) 31.472 ms 28.727 ms 0.ae2.pr1.lax10.tbone.rr.com (107.14.19.54) 33.099 ms
8 las-b21-link.telia.net (62.115.36.57) 29.536 ms 28.866 ms 38.277 ms
9 las-b3-link.telia.net (213.155.131.75) 39.996 ms las-b3-link.telia.net (62.115.116.180) 30.730 ms dls-b21-link.telia.net (62.115.139.8) 129.699 ms
10 dls-b22-link.telia.net (62.115.118.248) 67.543 ms dls-b22-link.telia.net (62.115.118.246) 68.761 ms *
11 * * 62.115.120.110 (62.115.120.110) 120.063 ms
12 ldn-bb2-link.telia.net (213.248.65.209) 298.906 ms * *
13 ldn-b1-link.telia.net (62.115.113.227) 196.344 ms ldn-b1-link.telia.net (62.115.141.139) 199.740 ms *
14 * * a100-ic-314161-ldn-b1.c.telia.net (213.248.79.242) 193.067 ms
15 * * *
16 *^C

Is anyone else seeing this problem too?
