when I go to setup new account then his base station button there is an orange bar at top that says

Syas "The internet connection appears to be offline" when I hit the base station selection to set up new account. Internet is not offline at either the base station or my iphione, what's up. Have not even been able to register yet

Make sure the phone is using your WiFi on the same router that the base is plugged into. Once set up, you can use cell service or WiFi. Sometimes using a computer is just easier.
