With my limited knowlege, I can tell you that the cold temps will degrade the chemistry in batteries at low temps...

When this happens the battery will put out less power and/or not be able to keep up with demands.

Some batteries will loose 1/2 their capacity down around the 14 degree mark.

The battery itself should not leak due to the cold, so thats prob not a worry.

As to the electronics, tho i don't think it will be harmed but it may be possible...think of putting your cell phone out in really low temps, some screens don't function well till warmed up.

Netgear/Arlo would know better and prob answer this better

The cameras can be mounted on a standard camera screw mount, the ball mount is for the internal magnet which does make it easy to move, adjust angle at any time.

What does the extreme temperature range do to the cameras? I live in Colorado. Some days in the winter the temperature will drop below the lower range of 14 degrees for the cameras. Does the quality of the videos deteriorate? Can the cameras get damaged when the temperature drops below 14 degrees? What about the batteries? Will the batteries leak and ruin the cameras? More explanation would be appreciated.

Also, can the cameras be physically mounted to a ceiling or wall w/o the magnetic ball?

Thanks.
