First, if you add a 6th camera you will need a subscription for it. The free 7-day cloud storage you have with your legacy cameras has always been limited to five unsubscribed cameras per account.

If you want to add a current camera, the simplest approach is to connect that camera to your home wifi. That will avoid the need to purchase a new base.

You could alternatively find a used Pro or Pro 2 camera, which is compatible with your current base.

But those cameras are old, and often used ones can't be onboarded because the previous owners failed to remove them from their accounts before sale.
