Setting up a 2nd 2.4 Wi-Fi for sensors hub

I cannot isolate a 2.4 g on my mesh network. The Orbi always negotiates up to the 5g. Has anyone added a second network to get the hub to pair? It has been an expensive brick for several months.

The Orbi doesn't let you configure separate SSIDs for 2.4g and 5g.

But I've found that ignoring the advice in the app, and simply proceeding with onboarding anyway works with Orbi. Have you tried doing that?

Don't put punctuation (including spaces) in the network name or password. I've never turned on Armor/parental controls, so maybe turn them off during onboarding if you use them.

Also I found if you lower the Orbi 5G transmit level in the settings then there is less issues getting them to allow hookup
