Setup VMB5000, Pro 5 2K cameras, and Wireless Essential Doorbells/hardest, least understood install

Because I attempted (without success) installation of equipment over the last few weeks, I seem to need newer version iPhone to meet Arlo Requirements for equipment installation. I can connect the equipment into my home wireless net work. However, my aged iPhone will not recognize the cameras and doorbells. My present iPhone does recognize the VMB5000. Because of costs involved, is the Amazon Fire (hardware and apps) useable with the ARLO equipment and App requirements?

My first generation iPhone SE otherwise functions for my other needs. All other personal hardware includes Linksys Mess Modems with Micosoft driven PCs and laptops.. Do any apps exist to operate the Smart Hub, cameras, and doorbell camers through these systems so that I do not need to update the OIS systems?? Thanks for you support and repsonses.
