When setting mode that camera 1 detects motion to have camera 2 start recording. Can you get both cameras to record at the same time?

Set up a NEW MODE, after adding the first camera rule, SAVE then go back and EDIT it to add the next camera rule

use

If cam 1 detects, record cam 1

If cam 1 detects, record cam 2

and io take it a step further add

if cam 2 detects record cam 2

if cam 2 detects record cam 1

Make the times of record the same lenght for both cameras
