Is there external lighting on the scene? The camera may be toggling between night and day recording.

I just purchased an Arlo Go from marketplace and camera works fine during the day but at night the night vision is flashing on and off. Have reset it numerous times to no avail, any ideas? Camera is running off battery, could that effect?
