My videos are expiring after several days even when I give them. Favorite heart designation. I have a flash drive plugged into base station. Is this normal?

Cloud videos are deleted after a set retention period - a heart designation doesn't change that. The retention depends on the subscription details

legacy cameras (up to Pro 2) have 7 days of cloud storage with no subscription.
In most geographies, retention with a subscription is 30 days
In Europe, Secure Plus retention is 60 days.

If your base is using direct access to local storage (only available on the VMB4540 or VMB5000), then you can see 30 days of local storage in the app - but not the browser. If you don't have that feature in your base, then you need to remove the flash drive and connect it to a PC to view any videos on it.
