&lt;P&gt;The USB ports on your NAS are for compatible USB hard drives/SSDs, flash drives, printers, and UPS.   You can't use them to transfer data to/from a PC or to/from the Arlo base.  The NAS isn't designed for that.  See page 7 of your NAS manual:&lt;/P&gt;
