Arlo Dual Charging Station VMA5400C how do batteries fit into the slots???

How do the batteries fit into the charging station slots? My batteries sit on top of the slots and not snugly into the slots, is that how they should fit? The LED lights are blinking yellow. The picture on the box and manual appears to show the batteries fitting entirely into the slots.

What model cameras do you have?

The VMA5400C is compatible with the batteries used in Arlo Ultra 2, Ultra, Pro 3, Pro 4, Go 2, and Pro 3 Floodlight Cameras.
