VBM3000not showing in device list

VBM3000 is setup and active but doesn't show in device list. Firmware won't update but can't do it manually since it doesn't show in devices. Reset unit twice but same result.

Are you logging in to the master account or a friend account? Friend accounts will not show the base stations.

I created a new account. Not aware of master or friend status.

Can I assume that this is a first time setup. That model base is old so is it 2nd hand, refurbished?

When it asks to update firmware when you try adding the Base if you continue without updating does it then show up under the settings/My Devices list?

Yes this is first time setup and it is 2nd hand. When I continue it says it can't update but then says it is active but does not show up in the device list.

Does the web portal show the same as the Arlo app? Have you tried installing the base station via the web portal as well?

Do you have a screenshot of the missing base station in the device list? Have you tried syncing a camera to the base station?
