Maybe better worded the other way around. The VMB5000 is plugged into the EX7000, which provides its internet connection.

None of these issues have anything to do with Arlo cameras or your Arlo bases. Note that Arlo split off from Netgear back in 2018.

using wifi mesh systems with hubs

I have 4 Arlo cameras Pro2 2ea Pro 3 Floodlight and Pro4. 2 hubs. 4540 and 5000. 2 cameras connected to each hub. One Netgear Nighthawk router is used in bridge mode for 2 cameras. Have another Netgear Extender EX7000 farther away for the other 2 cameras. It is plugged into 5000 hub. I get what others have complained about with this and other 2.4 and 5ghz routers, periodic wifi drops to my phones and MacBook. Using Apple products. Not sure if it is just an issue with these routers that auto switch frequencies to keep hardware on strongest signal. It changes my iPhone to 2.4 when I would like it to stay on 5ghz. This happens mostly when I am closer to the EX7000 than the Spectrum home router. Do any of the mesh networks, TP-Link Deco AX3000 X55 or Netgear Wifi6 MK63-100NAS correct this. Anyone using these mesh systems with their Cameras and how is it working. Will still keep the hubs, don't want to buy more cameras. Thanks

Thanks for info. I understand Netgear and Arlo aren't connected and my Arlo's are not the issue. Wasn't sure where to post this, but wanted Arlo users not Netgear input. I am trying the TP-Link x55 AX3000 first. Need 3 ethernet ports. If it works well, may try the Nertgear Orbi RBK763S. Their Tri-Band mesh. Good price on Amazon now. Thanks
