Can you open the camera for a model number?

Referring to the base ?

The original Arlo HD camera was only powered by 4-123 cells AND did not use a power cable.

If your referring to the base unit, the base unit is power by a 12v supply to a coaxial plug with center positive.

Plug is 5.5mm ( IIRC ) and the supply needs 1.5a output

There was never an official external power supply for these cameras. I believe there have been some 3rd party supplies but no idea how well they worked (weather sealing would be an issue) as well as whether they're still available.
