@rsenior: You might try moving the camera(s) into the wrong position yourself, and see if it picks up the motion. It would also be worth checking the field of view, and ensuring that there is no approach to the camera that isn't covered by the field of view (particularly make sure there is no way to get under the camera w/o crossing the field of view).

Assuming you have multiple cameras: you could also temporarily reposition a camera so that it is aimed at one of the cameras being tampered with (also ensuring that the two cameras are aimed at each other).

If you are using the magnetic mount, then I do suggest switching to a screw mount. The mounting screws are standard, and there are many third party ones available. Some are tamper-resistant, but any screw mount will be harder to reposition than the magnetic mount.

someone keeps turning my arlo cameras V3030 to face the opposite direction from which I placed them. When I check the library no recordings of action are available. Motion detection is always on at I high level. I recheck, troubleshoot, follow community advice, watch arlo videos. Still I can never catch who is turning my cameras in the opposite direction. I haven't decided to anchor them down because I am not comfortable with these camera's performance. Has anyone had this happen to them. Please help!

Do you know if the camera tampering occurs randomly or during a certain period?

Do you normally get motion notifications and recordings at all?

What operating mode is selected ?
