VMB4000 Cant connect Base station

I was recently given an old Arlo base station (VMB4000) and 2 cameras (VMC4030p). I have tried connecting it to the app multiple times and it won't work, not to mention the bad customer service on the chat. I would call Arlo but I have to connect cameras to my account to get a plan. PLEASE HELP!

You need to find the previous owner in case they’re stolen. You will need to have them remove the equipment from their account before adding to your account.

If they have just removed it from their account it may take up to 24 hrs for the changes to be pushed out by the arlo servers.

Have you tried a factory reset of the base station using the paper clip at rear and holding the reset for 12 sec until the LEDs begins flashing.
