It will work with Pro 3, Pro 4, Ultra, and Ultra 2 cameras.

I have arlo pro 3 floodlight and the battery listed doesn’t work with the cam.

Correct - the Pro 3 and Pro 4 will work, but not the floodlight. That needs the XL battery.

No. The Essential has an integrated battery that can not be removed.
